The Keepers

What are the Keepers? Here at The Lighthouse, this group of people are our Elders. Just like in our understanding of lighthouses, the Keepers were responsible for keeping the light shining bright so that those at sea and in storms would not get lost. From a biblical understanding, this group keeps this body focused on keeping the main thing (Jesus), the main thing. They are responsible for praying and seeking God’s face in how we as a church proceed in this culture, along with making major decisions for this body. They help guide our other leaders and help mentor those in leadership.
